I Wanna Move to Linux

what the HELL is linux?

if you dont know, linux is a FOSS operating system thats inspired by unix

its code was COMPLETELY created independently by Linus Torvalds and the operating system has “distributions”

what are distributions?

linux distributions are esentially pre-programmed (you dont have to make it urself) linux that will give u a good user experience on linux

just think of it as like a prebuilt PC (u dont have to build a PC urself)

now about the main topic

linux is pretty cool, windows is absolutely slop

i STILL use windows (read also: https://retrobloxxer.github.io/blog/mainpcsucks/) and yaeh

and you will say “just use ubuntu or linux mint”

NO. i have tried arch before and its insane i still might use debian bc thats what i usually use on my toshiba

heres the thing tho, i cant move to linux bc:

• all my data is important (such as my editing software)
• hard to maintain

idk ill plan it out

im genuinely bored i have no idea what to do so i wrote this post
