social media is getting banned. why? BECAUSE OF FUCKING POWER INTOX- AHEMAHEM cHiLd SaFeTy of course

it’s child safety WHEN IN FACT, YOU COULD’VE GET THE KIDS STARTING THE SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ARRESTED USING DISCORD (the kids doing this told that they were gonna do this on discord)

age checks

parents love it, the government loves it, everyone loves it, it’s a “security” implementation.

it’s the shitass tech that detects your age using AI (WHY?!) with the help of ur personal data (looking at you Roblox.)

why even personal data? no fuckin idea

does it even work?

no, it doesn’t even think before it acts.

example: you are 21 and the AI flags u as 9

it’s useless as bullshit

we literally LEFTED all of the world bc “we need a representative for games passing 100k concurrent players”

well is there any consequences? yeah, a FUCKING million turkish lira fine ORRRR bandwidth narrowing which is ABSOLUTELY OVERKILL

VPNs

remember though, we still had hope. we used to use VPNs to bypass bans and bandwidth narrowing (bc bandwidth narrowing is a DNS or IP restriction)

but will it even be possible anymore?

we generally just pulled off a fucking Russia and banned VPNs if they don’t have a license (WHAT LICENSE??)

the problem?

the government is scared for us having free internet because freedom = unallocated infoe

and what happens when we lose our freedom? information can be obtained (for some fuckin reason)

and controlled internet means kids go in labor (studying)

WHICH MEANS WE HAVE TO WORK MORE

the government loves blocking what we have bc the government is a fuckin pile of bullshit

and the media uses ts as a marketing tactic to make parents worry abt their kids when in fact 90% the problem is the kid’s psychology

well, guess this sucks (and i hope i don’t find myself in Silivri Prison bc Erdoğan)

and i hope the government remembers what it is
