Me VS Win98 QuickInstall

this blog post is ALL abt my shit with win98 quickinstall and the idiocrasy

i have a toshiba laptop & a REALLY old one (which is where im making the post rn)

i wanted to install old windows on it bc:

so i got win98 quickinstall on my USB and began

… wish i didnt.

so i got the thing into the PC and guess what it didnt boot and instead went to LAN boot (whic ofc faild)

i tried to change a LOTTA BIOS settings and guess what, i flashed the wrong image bc when it booted it couldnt find the menu file

so i hopped on my PC again and flashed a CORECT img

but.. after booting into the syslinux installer the idiocrasy started being an idiot (a image containing the win98 files couldnt be mounted)

i tried EVERYTHING to get it workin but nope

after that catasthrope i flashed debian into a USB and it worked

so i got that installed and here we are

(i spent 1 fuckin hour on ts and 6 HOURS on a fileserver attempt this is jus peak tech)
